Car break-in

A woman reported that her 1997 Toyota 4Runner was broken into at the Walker’s Run Condominiums, 7453 Newcastle Golf Club Road, between 6 and 9 p.m Sept. 17. She reported that her purse and its contents together worth $75 were stolen. The woman had left her window about an inch down with the doors locked, and she came back to find the vehicle had been entered.

Burglary of foreclosed house

A man reported that a foreclosed house he bought in the 11100 block of Southeast 68th Street had been broken into between noon Sept. 9 and 6:10 p.m. Sept. 17. He reported $650 of miscellaneous hardware stolen as well as two sink bowls together worth $1,000 and four vacuum attachments together worth $500.

The man had walked through the house with his contractor Sept. 9, and he received the keys Sept. 17, at which time he noticed the items missing.

Student arrests

A student was arrested at Renton Academy, 6928 116th Ave. S.E., for elbowing a staff member at 12:15 p.m. Sept. 16.

A student was arrested near Renton Academy at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 after vandalizing signs and greenhouses at the school and wandering through traffic, causing cars to stop.
