Comment period extended for large Renton development

The public comment period for the Quendall Terminals development in Renton has been extended to 5 p.m. Feb. 9. Send written comments to this address:

Quendall Terminals is slated to be a mixed-use development built on 21.46 acres of land at 4350 Lake Washington Blvd., Renton, with buildings six to seven stories tall, according to the city of Renton’s website.
The project calls for the development to contain seven mixed-use lots that would contain 800 new residential units, 245,000 square feet of office space, 21,600 square feet of retail space and 9,000 square feet of restaurant space. The development would also provide parking for 2,171 cars.
