Local students graduate
- Alanah Bell, of Newcastle, graduated June 13, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a minor in chemistry from the University of Washington. She will attend the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy in the fall to obtain her doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences.
- Julie-Elisa S. Acosta, of Newcastle, graduated July 13 with a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from Wichita State University, in Wichita, Kansas.
