Newcastle residents Mack and Zoe Strong to be honored at Childhaven centennial luncheon April 23

Former Seattle Seahawk Mack Strong and his wife Zoe will receive the Mark Matthews Service to Children Award at Childhaven’s centennial celebration luncheon April 23.
The Mark Matthews Service to Children Award is presented in honor of the Rev. Mark Matthews, who founded the Seattle Day Nursery in 1909. The name changed to Childhaven in 1985.
