Hazen High School music teacher Ernest Hibbard was recently honored by the Washington Music Educators Association as the Soundview Region Music Educator of the Year.

Hibbard was selected for the award because of his teaching ability, his service to other teachers and his exemplary leadership in the district and throughout the region.
