Newport Hills hosts Oscar party

The Newport Hills Community Club and a local restaurant have again teamed up to bring the Oscars to Newport Hills.
Newport Hills residents and surrounding neighbors, including those from Newcastle, are invited to attend a viewing party March 2 at the Mustard Seed Pub and Grill.
The fun includes a red carpet with photographer, door prizes and awards for those who correctly guess the Oscar winners. Food and drink specials will be available. Red carpet wear is encouraged, but not required. Children are welcome.
Red carpet coverage starts at 4 p.m., while the actual ceremony begins at 5:30.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to the event by Feb. 28 with an email to president@newporthillscommunityclub.org.
