Notes from Newcastle: Library sightings confirmed
October 10, 2014

When you go to the library, you expect to see friendly librarians skittering about. However, during the summer there were Newcastle Librarians turning up all over the community.
What type of events drove these librarians out of their natural habitat? Librarians were spotted conducting story times at the YMCA, attending City Council meetings and Chamber luncheons (with members of the Teen Leadership Board), and piloting the shiny, new bright red Mobile Learning Lab at the YMCA summer camp and Lake Boren.
Rest assured that you can still find your favorite librarians within the Newcastle Library walls eagerly waiting to assist you in finding your next great read or providing guidance on KCLS resources for your next research project. We also have many exciting programs to look forward to this fall, especially if you are a middle school or high school student. Read more
