City’s town-hall meeting is June 3
May 30, 2014
NEW — 6 a.m. May 30, 2014
The city of Newcastle’s annual town hall meeting will be held June 3.
The event, normally held in the fall, was moved up this year so the City Council can get the benefit of citizen input earlier on in the budget process.
The Newcastle City Council wants to hear from its citizens, so there will be a period for open audience questions, and the city will also solicit feedback through electronic voting devices again.
The meeting is an opportunity to meet up with neighbors, participate in city government and find out what’s going on in Newcastle.
The town hall meeting is from 7-9 p.m. June 3 at The Golf Club at Newcastle, 15500 Six Penny Lane.
