Essay contest open to eighth graders

The King County Civil Rights Commission invites all eighth-grade students to write essays about the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The top three writers in this 16th annual writing contest will receive trophies.
Essays should focus on the theme of voting rights and include ideas about Dr. King’s legacy of peace and justice.
