Remember to set your clocks forward one hour when daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. March 9.
The AllStateBlog recommends using the occasion to performing other seasonal home maintenance, including:
- Replace smoke/carbon monoxide alarm batteries.
- Flip or rotate your mattress.
- Schedule a furnace inspection.
- Call a chimney sweep.
- Drain your water heater. (Energy.gov suggests doing this every three months.)
