Bartell Drugs hosts Salvation Army toy drive

Bartell Drugs is collecting holiday gifts for children in need during the 10th annual Salvation Army “Toy ‘N’ Joy” drive.
Toys will be distributed to low-income children and youth the week before Christmas through the Salvation Army’s “toy warehouses.”
“The drive helps make the holiday season brighter for deserving children,” said George D. Bartell, chairman and CEO of Seattle-based Bartell Drugs. “The generosity and support of our customers over the past nine years has been gratifying.”
The five-week drive in 2012 generated more than 5,400 toy donations —the estimated equivalent of $81,300 in toys provided to the Salvation Army. Read more
