Newcastle Library hosts KCLS budget hearing

The Newcastle Library will host the first of four King County Library System budget hearings to discuss proposed strategic plans and budget allocations for 2014.
The Nov. 12 meeting begins at 7 p.m., and is an opportunity for public discussion to help shape the way KCLS provides service in libraries, online and in communities.
KCLS’ 2014 budget initiatives include community-focused services, strategic programming and collection management, effective operations, staff training and development, welcoming facilities and robust technologies.
