Newcastle Fruit and Produce hosts free workshop

The Newcastle Fruit and Produce stand is hosting a free container-gardening workshop from 8-11 a.m. June 9.
It will begin with a short lecture, followed by an opportunity to work hands on with the containers.
Space is limited. Register at the stand, 13013 Newcastle Way.
Staff from the popular Newcastle establishment offered their gardening tips in the June issue of the Newcastle News.
Carol R.C. White reminded gardeners to step away from the pesticide at the first sign of garden insects, while Susan J. Rabago offered her own container-gardening tips.
