Patriots coach invited to national conventions

Liberty High School head football coach Steve Valach was selected as one of 51 high school football head coaches from across the country to attend the 11th annual NFL-USA Youth Football Summit July 21-23 at Kent State University.

One coach was selected from each state plus the District of Columbia. Various former NFL players, including former Dallas Cowboy Darren Smith and Hall-of-Famer Mike Haynes, as well as other NFL officials gave presentations regarding various aspects of the game.
