South bound issue!!!

I have had 2 accident avoidances in 2 days because when sitting at the light right where the second lane ends people pull up and then cut right in front and do not properly merge over and almost evey time 2 cars will try to go at the same time almost hitting me in the process and im sitting in the correct lane.

THE ROAD NEEDS TO END AT LEAST 50 YARDS BEFORE THAT LIGHT!!!. This will ensure everyone is in a single lane at that point before the construction and before the stop light. This will prevent people from cutting people off and causing an accident.

This is a disaster. The planning, the work of police, the signs (or their absence), the timing, the schedule – I’ve never seen a more catastrophic project implementation. Not to mention, was there a need for the road repave to begin with? I understand the part about urgent spending of federal funds (given to city) but to what costs? Thank you city for this gift, thank you for waiting till the beginning of the school year, thank you for ruining schedules of all Newcastlers and the city commuters.

Traffic control has been very poor. People who need to pull off of parts of CC Parkway to get home can’t—-pretty silly. Better planning needed.
