I have been living in Newcastle since 2004 and Dennis has been repairing my cars since 2004. He has always been so very kind to work on my car on short notice when I needed him to do so. Dennis will be missed by me for he has a great business in repairing cars and providing gas to my car. I only find out today for I was calling Dennis to talk to him about my Truck. Dennis you are a great man in the Newcastle Community and you will be missed by me and many others in the community. Thank you Dennis for 9 years of help and your friendship also.

We are beyond saddened by this news. We are out of state and just found out this news today! Dennis was not only one of the best mechanics I have ever known or dealt with, but more importantly, he was a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed immensely!

Oh, how I will miss Dennis! He was a first class gentleman, treating every customer like a friend. I was always so impressed by the pride he took in his shop; keeping it neat and super-clean at all times. Rest in peace, sweet guy.

I am very shocked and saddened by the loss of Dennis. My father religiously took his vehicles to the Shell station because he trusted Dennis and his opinions and advice.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I just heard about the passing of Dennis. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

You may not remember me. But Trevor will always be remembered at Highlands Preschool. The young man with the fishing vest, who was so full of laughter and imagination. Trevor filled our lives with so much happiness and his smiles truly touched our hearts. Your father was a great man and will be missed.

My family and I are shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news of Dennis's death. We have known Dennis and his wife, Beth for years. My husband Gene has called Dennis many times for his automobile emergencies and Dennis was always there at his aid. I personally would like to share the time that a young couple had run out of gas and was stranded on Coal Creek Pkwy. They had a baby and not a cent on them. I asked if I could help and they said they were out of gas. Not having a gas can, I drove to Newcastle Shell to see if Dennis would help. He didn't have a gas can so he bought one to keep at the gas station and lent it to me. We filled it up and I took the kids some gas. That was the kind of person he was. Alway there to help. He will be greatly missed in this community. Our family sends their prayers to Beth and her family.

Well they say that it is not how many people show up for your wedding, but for your funeral as a measure of how much you are loved and will be missed.. if this is true, then Denny you must have been smiling that big Denny smile yesterday! What a tribute to you and how much you are loved, respected and so painfully missed by so many! So much to thank you for my friend! Thanks first and foremost for giving us the pleasure to call you "friend", thanks for filling a painful void we had in our lives with your endless friendship, thanks for giving our son Ryan a job and for being such a mentor to him, thanks for the kick butt "breakfast sandwiches" on our camping trips, thanks for making my car "Pass" emissions last Monday, thanks for all the laughs, and making me laugh so hard that it hurt the next day!

You truly are a one of a kind man! I hope that before you left this space, you realized how important you were to so many in your family, extended family and community, we are all a little bit better for having you touch our lives Denny! I know if my heart hurts this bad that the grief for Beth and Trevor, and your family is huge.. BUT, we will all be strong for Beth and Trevor, and I know you are so proud at how they are trying to deal with this huge loss!

Denny, I love you and will miss you forever! Smile on my dear, dear friend and know that we will all continue our camping traditions, garage parties, Seahawk games et all!! Oh, and thanks for leaving your station in the capable hands of such a great crew, Joe, Benni, Alex and the rest of the crew are amazing and it is nice to know that I can still have our cars taken care of by such great people!
