I can't believe we're denied our own zip code again. This is rediculous why the Postal Office denies us on those grounds. S is right in that our insurance costs are higher, our property values are impacted; however, our property tax remains higher than rentons. What gives?

What will it take to get our own zip code?

NewCastle should NOT share the same zip code with Renton. It's not the same city and has a totally different population. By sharing a zip code, our insurance costs are higher and property value is decreased.

Considering we're equally closed to Bellevue, why not share a zip code with NewPort or Factoria instead?

Are you kidding me? The Postal Service knows that money is collected for online purchase via zip codes and they don't care if it makes a difference? Of course they don't. The post office is one of the most inefficient, uneffective government run businesses.

This is plain crazy talk!
