No. Jean is not running. She’s trying to pave the way for her hand picked successor, Mark Garvin, father of the new green park signs.

Varon’s not running either, He’s moving. Their plan is to pretend they are going to run to scare off challengers to an open seat. I’m told Jean might even file (Ben won’t) and then withdraw saying “If someone as qualified as Mark Garvin will run I will step aside….”. Hubbell is going to run again.

Last time they “beat the bushes” for “like minded” candidates”. The people they recruited lost miserably in the election and are not too happy about feeling misled by Garber and Hubbell.
