I fully agree with Garry Kampen and Sue Beverly. The City of Newcastle is wasting money on things not required by any resident. The City is mismanaged and much more oversight is required. Perhaps it is time for the Mayor to realize that his job is to serve the people of Newcastle and not use dictatorial tones. We would be much better off if we joined Bellevue, for example. Bellevue, at least, has a professional and capable city management.
