Hazen’s girls cross-country team wins league title

The Hazen High School girls cross-country team won the 2015 Seamount League title. It’s the girls’ first since 2004.

Senior Kate Lilly was the Highlanders’ top finisher, placing second overall with a time of 20 minutes, 15 seconds. Teammate Shannon Gifford finished just behind her, earning third overall in 20:15.10.

Keara Daley, Daniela Reyna, Sarah Hart, Rachel Dennis and Cassandra Slaugh rounded out the rest of the Hazen finishers.
