Chamber, HomeStreet Bank search for the best cookie recipe

Newcastle HomeStreet Bank and the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce are looking for the city’s best cookie recipe.
Newcastle residents, or chamber members, are invited to submit their finest cookie recipes for a chance to win a $50 savings account at HomeStreet Bank or a gift certificate for a one night stay at The Old Hen Bed-and-Breakfast in North Bend.
Two winning recipes will be announced and served at an after-hours social event at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at HomeStreet Bank, 6949 Coal Creek Parkway S.E.
Food blogger and award winning bed-and-breakfast owner Deanna Morauski will bake the winning cookies and share recipes and photos on her website.
