Talks with the Teamsters continue

City staff members have received a draft of a contract proposal from the Teamsters, the union representing Newcastle’s maintenance staff.
City staff members are now reviewing the contract draft, and as of Newcastle News’ deadline May 25, Interim City Manager Rob Wyman said the city planned to respond to the draft by the end of May.
