Patriot Press wins awards

Liberty High School’s student newspaper, Patriot Press, received second place for overall Best High School Newspaperfor its enrollment size at the regional Society of Professional Journalists banquet May 31 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.
In April, the Patriot Press won third place in the Best of Show category in Washington State University’s Murrow School of Journalism contest.
In addition, Jenna Farr won third place for Sports Writing and Sarah Wilcock won an honorable mention for News Writing in the WSU contest.
